Thursday's second post re: Wednesday

I was lucky enough to spend the day with my sister yesterday (in honor of her upcoming birthday, August 26) and decided to photo some of the artwork on the walls:

Above is a very early watercolor study by my sister. Very nice, don't you think?
This is a picture I painted after visiting the huge Koi pond at the Japanese garden at Long Beach State. (I smile that Wendy has a painting of mine hanging in her house. She's so much more talented than I am!)

And here's one my daughter painted of Tristan a couple of years ago and gave to Wendy.

Also, below, is a friend living in the lovely (rather green, today) pond my sister and her family built in their backyard.
