Tea, anyone?

My son brought home two sets of beautiful teacups and saucers-- dark blue, big enough to be soup bowls. They were free from his workplace (he looks up work from a temp agency during the summers). As I was examining one, I found a sticker on the bottom that read: " This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm. Made in China." Huh. Did they think we were still going to use the product after reading that???
