I think it's hysterical, because J~ is my son, and he was really hamming it up. Too bad I couldn't record the whole thing!
Afterwards, I stayed up late (again!) watching the Olympics. I find that I'm watching, waiting for a certain event (like waiting for Nastia Luikin to do her dismount off the balance beam, or for Michael Phelps to touch the wall and see his time), and all of a sudden cheering will wake me up--and I missed the moment!!! I almost fell asleep in church today (I didn't--I said almost) because of all this staying up past midnight to watch the Olympics.
Now that Michael Phelps has won his 8 gold medals (hey, did you know that world records in swimming kept getting broken in Beijing because of the way they made the pool??? It's deeper and wider to absorb contrary water movement so that swimmers' efforts all go to forward movement) maybe I'll go to bed on time...
